The IR light and IR laser are invisible to the human naked eyes and are only visible under a night-vision device. These are meant to supplement night vision, not act as a lighting source. They use advanced infrared LED technology to emit a powerful 5W 940nm light that cannot be seen by the naked eye. When used in conjunction, the IR light can help with quick target acquisition and aiming. The IR laser beam is Class IIIA and the green laser beam is Class IIIA with a safe laser output of <5mw.

The design of the flashlight combo is ergonomic, with buttons positioned naturally for easy operation when mounted, and to prevent accidental activation. The rotary mode selector allows users to choose between white light (IR light) only, green laser (IR laser) only, and a combination of both by pressing the buttons. The white light and IR light (or IR laser) cannot be switched on simultaneously.

The flashlight combo is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, and features a magnetic USB charging port that is more durable and water and dust resistant than traditional micro USB ports.

It is built to be durable, shockproof, and waterproof, with a sturdy aircraft aluminum body, type III hard anodizing surface with 1.5m drop resistance, and IPX6 waterproofing. It is assembled with waterproof o-rings and an anti-abrasive coating lens, allowing it to be used in rainy conditions.

The combo is low-profile, small, and sleek, with a height of only 0.9 inches above the rail surface, providing flexibility in mounting positions. The TF-9069 flashlight laser sight combo is compatible with both picatinny and M-Lok rails, without the need for an adapter.
